AIM AND SCOPE
As already hinted, the ABSU Journal of the Arts, Management, Education, Law and Social Sciences (JAMELSS) is published by Abia State University, Uturu. It is funded by Tetfund, Nigeria. JAMELSS shall maintain a profile as an international scholarly Journal. Apart from maintaining a competitive peer-review process, it shall retain an electronic, open-access online status. Thus, there would be no restriction to access to the researches published in the Journal.
JAMELSS shall be published once a year. It is our interest in JAMELSS to publish after due peer-review process original research in the broad areas of the Humanities, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Education and Law. While we encourage papers that are of global interest and significance in the areas listed above, we shall prefer more researches that demonstrate a sensitivity to the issues and models relevant to Africa and Nigeria.
THE OBJECTIVES OF JAMELSS
- To encourage and stimulate debates about the relevance of the Humanities, Social and Management Sciences, Education and Law to a world that is becoming over-determined by the impact of Science and Technology.
- To report the outcome of worthwhile and informative researches that is carried out in the disciplines covered by the scope of JAMELSS.
- To encourage a beneficial intellectual relationship that not only affects members of the academia but also policy makers and society.
- To promote research interventions that would draw attention to current developments in the disciplines covered in the Arts/Humanities, the Social and Management Sciences, Education and Law.
